Large flying creatures from the mountains of Pamaltela.
- The undersides of their long, heavy tails bristle with a row of sharp spines or darts.
- Hoons have shaggy skin, hideous skull-like heads, and bat wings.
- They share their origin with Uz, but lost the Man Rune.
- They are found around Akku and in the caves of Mrizlajam
